Country Lane Homestay & Garden
The GardenCountry Lane country garden is very much a spring garden including many roses which flower right through the summer. The garden has grown over the years which has made it necessary to move our fences often. Our small cottage has been extended and a top storey added, so we have had to redesigned the layout of the grounds to accommodate the upstairs views. We now have three guest rooms with balconies over looking the vista. View Map
Fay is a hands on gardener and of course Allan is the lawn mower.
Some comments from our Guests.
"A beautiful and tranquil place to stay with a lovely friendly and relaxed atmosphere."
"Fay cooked a fantastic meal and both were generous with their time in sharing their beautiful corner of the world. Not only we enjoyed their typical English breakfast and also their lovely horse, sheeps and cattles even if their small factory by which it seems they could do anything. I would highly recommend Country Lane Homestay."
"I had nine nights at the country lane homestay and could not have been looked after better by Fay and Alan. A beautiful house with a beautiful garden."
"The entire property is exquisite and sits on a beautiful relaxing location. Deserves a rating beyond 10. Many thanks Fay."
"We were given the grand tour and were amazed how beautiful the house was, grounds and all."
"We had the upstair room with a superb bathtub, we enjoyed hot bath each night! If you choose to do it during the day, you'll have sunshine and a pretty garden and farmland view."
"We really enjoyed our stay with Allan & Fay. The house & gardens are beautiful, they are rightfully proud of their work and we loved staying with them."
