Our beautiful garden tours offer inspiring visual experiences, and connect people with nature. At the same time, they add value and gratitude to the unique garden creations in the Lake Wanaka Upper Clutha district.

Tours run every day from October to April. After a successful third season, with 50% more guided garden tours, the 23/24 season is becoming a must-do activity in Wanaka. 

Pick up at a pre-arranged spot in Wanaka, transport to gardens and return.

Each tour visits 2, 3 or 4 very different parks, lasting 3 to 5 hours and costing $95 to $149 per person (group discounts).

Long-term Wanaka resident well-known for her community involvement, Florence Micoud has a long experience and knowledge of gardening. For seven years, she worked as an information manager for a French leading organic gardening company, producing a substantial magazine, publishing books and operating the visitor centre Terre Vivante. Florence led many guided tours at this centre featuring stunning gardens, eco-building, renewable energy and sustainable opportunities. 

Florence has enjoyed gardening since her childhood, with her Dad showing how to care for plants and her Mum teaching her how to use them. Over the years, she’s created several veggie gardens in the various properties she has lived in with her family.

Her deep interest in and love for nature, trees, birds and plants all converge in gardens. The idea of a garden tour for locals and visitors came from the deep joy of sharing she experienced in visiting stunning local gardens in Wanaka.

All gardens are different in size and style, from small urban sections to 2.5 hectares of lifestyle property.
