This year’s festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of beauty, creativity and the vibrant spirit of our region. We’re once again delighted to have Bayleys Marlborough as our principal sponsor. Glenn and the Bayleys team continue to be incredible champions of both the festival and our wider community. Their passion for Marlborough shines through in everything they do, and we’re proud to partner with them in showcasing the very best our region has to offer. We’re also thrilled to welcome Two Rivers on board as our new wine partner. As a Marlborough-owned winery with deep local roots and a long-standing connection to Garden Marlborough, this premium brand is a natural fit for our event. Alongside a stunning selection of gardens, our 2025 program features an inspiring mix of local and international speakers, along with hands-on workshops and immersive experiences. Whether you’re a passionate gardener, a curious beginner or simply here to soak up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Last year we celebrated 30 years of Garden Marlborough. The event was a wonderful success, with record tickets sales and fabulous feedback from attendees, some of whom have been attending since the very beginning!
The festival involves a huge number of volunteers in the community who generously give their time to bring together the best event of its kind in New Zealand: the friendly and helpful people who staff our registration operation, the tour guides and workshop hosts, helpers at the fete site, those who make lunches and morning teas ,and many, many others. Our event depends on our extraordinary garden owners, who work tirelessly during the year to open their amazing environments for others to share in and be inspired by. Behind Garden Marlborough is a whole community of people, who come together to ensure we bring you a truly unforgettable weekend.
Nestled among rolling vines and steeped in history, Auntsfield Estate sets the scene for this year’s vibrant cocktail celebration, inspired by the rich and diverse cultures of the Pacific Rim.
We invite a very high calibre of guest speakers to our workshop programme. This is a wonderful opportunity to brush up on your skills, deepen your horticultural knowledge and learn professional gardening tricks and tips from prominent New Zealand and international gardening experts.
The Stihl Shop Garden Fete is a highlight in Marlborough’s event calendar, and one of our largest free community happenings. A day at the fete in Churchill Glade is a perfect way to round off Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough and to experience the fabulous collection of plants people, artisan vendors and garden product stalls offering a wide variety of high-quality items for the garden and gardener.
Just down the hall from our office at the Blenheim Club, the bar is the perfect way to wind down as you enjoy a glass of delicious Rapaura Springs wine and great local food.
