The 2026 tour will feature beautiful and unique gardens in the Southern Wairarapa. Garden locations will be released in July.
Across two days (Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November), the Wairarapa Garden Tour invites you to discover a hand-picked selection of the region’s finest private gardens. As a self-guided experience, you’re free to move at your own pace, following a route that suits your day.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll gain access to at least a dozen properties, many rarely – if ever – open to the public. From historic country estates to contemporary spaces shaped by modern design, every stop brings something different to enjoy.
The 2026 tour spans South Wairarapa, with locations across Featherston, Martinborough, Greytown, Gladstone and surrounding areas.
Proudly presented by Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre, the Wairarapa Garden Tour is its largest annual fundraiser. Every ticket helps support vital work protecting and restoring native wildlife for future generations.
Gain insights from passionate gardeners who have nurtured these landscapes into works of art.
