Sculpture Northland 2024

Whangarei Quarry Gardens 37A Russell Rd, Kensington, Whangarei 0112, New Zealand

Overview

Dates for 2024 to come.

Sculpture Northland returns to Whangarei Quarry Gardens 20 - 29 May 2022.  Northland's largest contemporary outdoor sculpture exhibition, Sculpture Northland celebrates the thriving arts community that resides in the winterless north. With 100 local artists contributing to this year's event, art lovers will not want to miss this stunning biennial event.

Join us for a spectacular journey of discovery through a stunning sub-tropical oasis as we celebrate some of the best sculptural artworks Northland has to offer. Proceeds from the Event support both the artists and our wonderful community garden project, Whangarei Quarry Gardens. Quail Cafe will be open every day of the event - so why not stop to indulge in their delicious range of delicious food and excellent coffee?

Golf cart tours are available throughout the 10 days. Bookings are essential. email events@whangareigardens.org.nz

The Gardener

Whangarei Quarry Gardens is a community garden project created by volunteers in the forested western hills of Whangarei City. With the ongoing support of Whangarei District Council, Community Employment Groups and many loyal sponsors and friends, the once dilapidated quarry site has become a subtropical oasis for all to enjoy.
