Dates for the 2026 event will be announced in early 2026.
Every two years, the Jassy Dean Trust welcomes visitors to the Waiheke Garden Festival – a joyful weekend on Waiheke Island filled with beauty, creativity, and community spirit. Wander through a handpicked selection of stunning private gardens, soak up live music, discover local art, taste delicious food, and browse plant sales and market stalls. The Waiheke Garden Festival is the primary fundraiser for the Jassy Dean Trust, with all proceeds benefiting local children and their families who are experiencing medical emergencies, illnesses, or have ongoing health or developmental needs.

Bus tour. Fullers 360 offers a wonderful bus tour option to visit selected gardens for those not wishing to drive. Book ahead as seats are limited. Buses leave at 10 am from Matiatia for those arriving off the 9 am ex-Auckland ferry. Gardens included will be Gardens 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 10 and the Art Stop. Nb: changes may apply on the day due to time constraints.
Although the festival is a self-drive event many of our gardens have difficult road access and Waiheke has very narrow, windy roads. Please comply with all parking signage.
We invite you to self-drive but please be aware that access to some properties can get crowded and patience is needed for parking. We encourage carpooling wherever possible.
