Nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in East Auckland is this magnificent garden. This has taken many years to transform the landscape from trees and grass to this impressive garden that engulfs the house. Bromeliads are the dominating plant along with succulents, air-plants and numerous flower plants blending in with beautiful flower pots and garden ornaments.
Endless hours of work over many years with no set plans have rewarded the owners with this unique garden in a tranquil setting. Admiring the garden from the conservatory or sitting under the pagoda is one of our favourite past times.
Luzvie is the one with the green fingers and the passion to develop this garden. From early hours in the morning still working late at night with a torch in all weather conditions has paid great dividends with this display. Luzvie artistic talent coupled with Neville’s hard work and workmanship is a perfect partnership, creating a multi-layered garden. Neville is the labourer and builder that does what he is told to add or change the garden set up, building work and ideas for further development, etc.
784 sq m section, allow 1-2 hours for your visit. We welcome garden clubs, social clubs, bus and coach tours.
