If you have a passion for alpine plants, especially those native to New Zealand, our society is perfect for you! We focus on plants that thrive at high elevations, above the tree line. This includes taller plants found in alpine meadows as well as dwarf varieties that are suitable in character and proportion from non-alpine regions, such as coastal North and South America, steppes, prairies, deserts, the Mediterranean, northern Africa, Australia, and southern Africa. As a result, we appreciate a wide variety of bulbs and woodland plants.
