Cedar Park Gardens are set in 1 1/2 acres of trees perennials, shrubs and bulbs in a secluded prize-winning garden setting. Our garden was started when we moved here in 2000. We were fortunate to be able to bring many "pieces" from our previous garden, along with hundreds of potted cuttings, and plants growing on. Ron marked out "his" little patch, which is now a lovely stand of varied native "bush". Originally wind was a major problem, with hundreds of metres of windbreak cloth protecting plants and individual trees. This paid off, and we now have good shelter. In spring we have 100's of bulbs, and cherry trees, summer has its own beauty with plenty of colourful perennials, roses, and now shady trees, and autumn colours are spectacular. Our potager provides more than enough vegetables for ourselves and our guests. So many areas to enjoy - lunch in the gazebo, a quiet rock on the swing seat, wine under the umbrella, or simply sit and enjoy the views.
Both Anne and Ron have a love of the outdoors, and like space around them, hence the 1 1/2 acres of gardens!! Anne is the passionate gardener; Ron's invaluable contribution lies in maintaining equipment & tools, mowing lawns, and constructing whatever plan Anne has dreamed up next! - but pull a weed - never!! The garden is a garden of memories for Anne (as her Nana would have called it), as many pieces have been swapped with friends and family. Anne and Ron gain much pleasure from sharing their garden with others. They both enjoy sailing a Sunburst, camping, and more recently, have taken up mountain biking. Ron, being an avid photographer, spends many hours photographing the garden and individual flowers.

A beautiful setting for weddings. The gazebo has had its first wedding, and there are many opportunities for delightful photo shots in different areas.
