Our magical garden is stunning at all times of the year and will touch all your senses. The entire 5 acres are garden From formal rose gardens, herbaceous borders, woodland gardens and extensive flower beds. Little rooms tucked away where you can sit and relax. Easy walking paths. Each season has its own delights. Beautiful and peaceful.
There are seats dotted throughout the garden for you to rest and take it all in.
The lush gardens offer a haven of peace and tranquility, and our guests are welcome to wander through them at their leisure.
Many native birds use our garden, including wood pigeons, tuis, bellbirds and a white-faced heron.

Your hosts are Lynne and Trev. Lynne does the weeding and Trev mows the lawns and keeps the hedges tidy. We both have an avid interest in gardening. Lynne is retired and now spends all her time in the garden. Trev is still working in conservation.
Trev makes art out of upcycled metal.

I am a celebrant registered with the NZ Government Department of Births, Deaths and Marriages and I love officiating at weddings! Do you want your day to be special and unique? Do you want a vibrant celebrant? I can help you at your place, up the mountains by the sea or I can make a complete package using our garden.
We run a B n B. If you want an afternoon/morning tea this can be catered for. Likewise if you have a special occasion you want to celebrate contact me and we can make it special for you.
We have one lovely bedroom with its own ensuite. Breakfast is included.

Lunches, a morning or afternoon tea can be provided for a fee. We can also cater for birthday parties, anniversary's and celebrations. All food is prepared fresh for you. Homegrown or sourced locally. Dietary requirements catered for. Enjoy your lunch in the garden, serenaded by the bird sounds.

The verandah wraps itself around the house, a cozy place to sit regardless of the weather. Quiet seating areas and secret pathways sit awhile, read a book, and take timeout.

Our garden in Invercargill 10 minutes from the city center it is in an enviable position, located within easy driving distance to all the southern centers. In just 2 ½ hours you can be in Dunedin or Queenstown, or in only 2 hours in Te Anau. It takes only 1 hour to reach the Catlins, forty minutes to Riverton and half an hour to Bluff. Stewart Island is easily reached by ferry (1 hour from Bluff) or plane (20 minutes from Invercargill).
